Blind-Folded Makeover

January 2007, Stylist Heather Meiser performed a blind-folded makeover.

"I can't style my hair in the back because I can't see what I'm doing."

When we rely solely on sight we make it more difficult because you know what you are trying to do but you are looking in the mirror flipped around backwards; it then becomes about hand eye coordination.

Why haven't there been more makeovers for the visually impaired? Working, going to school, attending functions and more requires a professional appearance. In receiving a makeover and learning to maintain their new look themselves and build self-confidence.

We went to extreme measures to prove that it can be done by touch.
